Documents and Memorials
These are a collection of old documents, dating back as far as 1889. I found these documents, for the most part at ancestry.com as well as footnote.com (now "fold3.com".) They include information from the four available United States Censuses from this century (1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930), Naturalization Petitions, a Citizenship Certificate, Draft Registration Cards (World War I and World War II), ship logs grave sites, and more. Next to some of them are descriptions of what information the documents include. Again, reading the pages, History (part 1) and History (part 2) will provide you with some information about some of these documents. In addition, reading the information on the page "Finding Simon and Fannie Lemanowitz" will give a bit of information about my search to find their gravesites.
If you are interested in any of these documents (or any that you see on another page), I am happy to send you (via email) a copy of the document in a size and format that is more easily read or printed.
